Number of Skydives and BASE Jumps - Per our requirements, jumpers must have at least 100 parachute jumps prior to Bridge Day. Skydives or BASE jumps qualify as a parachute jump. If you do not have 100 parachute jumps when you purchase your jump pass, you can still register to jump. When you arrive at Bridge Day, we will verify that you've made additional jumps and met this requirement.

Date of Last Parachute Jump - Per our requirements, jumpers must have made a parachute jump in the two years prior to Bridge Day. Skydives or BASE jumps qualify as a parachute jump. If you have not jumped in the last two years, but plan to make a refresher jump before Bridge Day, please indicate so in this text field.

Bridge Day Harness/Container - You must use a BASE specific harness and container at Bridge Day. Please reference our Bridge Day Gear Guide before you purchase a jump slot if you have questions. Experienced jumpers who used skydiving gear at Bridge Day in the past or jumpers with special circumstances should contact us for a waiver before registering for Bridge Day. BASE rental gear is also available.

First Time BASE Jumper - All first time BASE jumpers will be required to attend one of the following courses unless they've been trained by an approved mentor: Bridge Day First BASE Jump Course - Four days (October 17-20) of advanced training by The Snake River BASE Academy, comparable to the courses taught on the West Coast by the main BASE Gear Manufacturers. In addition to the basic skills needed for a successful Bridge Day experience, such as packing, exits and canopy flight, this course covers BASE history, ethics and culture, as well as malfunction and object avoidance theory. In person training with simulated exits and some home study is included. Cost is $375.   Bridge Day Introductory Course - Six to eight hours of training on the day prior to Bridge Day that covers packing, Bridge Day logistics, malfunctions, launch practice, and a landing area tour. The Snake River BASE Academy will be teaching this course and the cost is $50. Experienced jumpers are welcome to attend portions of this course for a minimal charge.

Hotel Room Requests - Vertical Visions has contracts for more than 150 local hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Oak Hill and Quality Inn New River. Rooms are being offered to jumpers on a first-come, first-served basis during jumper registration only. There will be no need to fight for hotel rooms by calling hotels on September 1st this year. During your Bridge Day jump slot purchase, simply indicate that you'd like to request a hotel room and identify which hotel (first and second choice). If you registered early enough to qualify for a hotel room, we'll email you with further instructions in mid-July and you'll need to call the hotel from August 1-7 with a credit card to secure it. We'll also have a waiting list in case someone cancels. Each jumper can request one hotel room. Jumpers who did not register early and have no chance of obtaining one of our contracted rooms will be notified in mid-July, allowing them plenty of time to secure a room themselves at alternate hotels.

Approved Mentors - If you're a first time BASE jumper and you have or will be trained by a mentor in preparation for Bridge Day, please list your mentor's name and email address in the comments text box when purchasing your jump pass. Approved mentors should be experienced BASE jumpers with 100+ BASE jumps performed from a variety of fixed objects. Your mentor must have attended and jumped at Bridge Day in the past. By purchasing a Bridge Day jump pass, you authorize us to contact your mentor to verify your training and your mentor's BASE jumping experience.
